Welcome to Fabulous Downtown Las Vegas

Close your eyes and imagine living, working, or playing in Downtown Las Vegas. As the original heart of the city, downtown is a walkable, urban environment where innovative new businesses co-exist alongside historic landmarks; where book stores, record stores, coffee shops and restaurants flourish next to cultural institutions, and you’ll find both co-working spaces and an amazing outdoor collection of murals and installation pieces by internationally-recognized artists.

Pioneers

The list of people, entities, and businesses who have contributed to downtown’s revitalization is far too long to fully list, but here’s a snapshot: Former Mayor Oscar Goodman, current Mayor Carolyn Goodman, and the entire city of Las Vegas staff have been working to restore our downtown to a vibrant city center for decades; The individuals who took the plunge and started Fremont East Entertainment District-based businesses more than a decade ago, and those who have taken their initial success and doubled down with new downtown investments; The many people across downtown’s varied, unique districts who have worked hard for the good of all, under the belief that a rising tide lifts all ships; And the many people who have lived in downtown neighborhoods for decades, never giving up on the area, as well as those who have seen more recent revitalization efforts and made the move.

And there are those people and companies who have seen downtown revitalization efforts start to work, and have made their own investments in the area, bringing a new approach, and new development, all helping to make this part of downtown a diverse, vibrant neighborhood.

We’re grateful to all those who have come before us in making downtown Las Vegas a fabulous place to live, work, and play, and we can’t wait to see what happens next.
